ICONS

Born in Rome and raised in Venezuela, I meld the influences of ancient European civilization and pre-Columbian legacies in my series "Icons." This collection combines Byzantine icons and church altarpieces with Aztec, Mayan, and Inca idols. Executed in oil on canvas and wood, enriched with pastels, gold leaf, and acid, each piece is a visual dialogue transcending time and geography.
