Welcome to my world!

My Background

My Inspiration

My Background

My path as an artist is shaped by movement, curiosity, and the cultures that raised me. Born in Rome and raised in Caracas, I began painting early, long before I understood that art would become my anchor.

Architecture took me back to Italy, where museums, cities, and ancient sites became my classrooms. Studying in Italy, Hungary, and Venezuela expanded my way of seeing, blending structure, history, and emotion into a single visual language.

For two decades I practiced architecture in Venezuela while exhibiting my artwork. Eventually, the pull of painting became impossible to ignore, leading me to commit fully to art.

That choice brought me to Miami, where I work from my studio at Red Thread Art Studios — a space of constant experimentation where materials, ideas, and personal history continually evolve.

Travel across the Americas, Asia, and Africa has shaped my worldview. These encounters live within my work, giving it depth and multiplicity.

Today, my practice reflects a life in motion: layered, curious, and always transforming

My Medium

My Inspiration

My Background

My practice is built on experimentation with materials — oil, acrylic, encaustic, acids, gold leaf, and collage — each chosen to shape the narrative of the piece. Texture and process become part of the story, creating a dialogue between material and meaning.

Textile art has recently become central to my work. Stitching and weaving connect me to an ancestral lineage of women who used fabric as a language of memory and survival. Working with textiles feels like entering a living archive, where personal and collective histories meet.

Each thread is a mark, each stitch a story. Through this medium, I bridge tradition and contemporary art, honoring the hands that came before me. My work continues to evolve through this interplay of technique, history, and the shared threads that link us across time.

Since childhood, values like equality, respect for all living beings, and cultural openness have shaped who I am and how I create. My work is not only visual — it is an act of care, a way to express my love for humanity and the natural world.

As my techniques have evolved, the core of my practice has stayed constant: a commitment to love, peace, justice, and cultural integration. Every mark, pigment, and layer carries these intentions. My canvas becomes a space to advocate for harmony and to reflect the interconnectedness that defines us.

My art is a record of the values that guide me — a visual journal driven by empathy and the desire for a more compassionate world. Through my work, I hope to not only engage the eye but also reach the heart, reminding us of the shared threads that unite us across cultures and experiences.
